LOVETREE : mountaineer


Lovetree is a new phenomenon in the Swedish dance scene. They offer beautiful, fastidious and airy house/drum’n’bass. But it’s so much more then this.

Lovetree is the naked truth stripped of all façades, all bitterness and falseness. Mountaineer, the debut album, is therapy for the boy who has grown up under miserable conditions, but who has been able to reconcile with life. Both the cover pictures and the music communicate the same message; to come out of bitterness, to walk on and like a mountaineer climb and overcome
the numerous adversities we face as humans.

Marcus Agemo, domiciled in Stockholm, is the man behind Lovetree. He has solely written the material, produced and recorded it in his own studio, Wonderkid Studio. Mr Agemo has figured in different musical contexts ranging from pop to hard rock. Dance music has been a hobby of his since the late eighties, but it’s not until now we’ve got the chance to enjoy his works in the form of a full length CD.

Feffe Appelgren on bass and Urban Näsvall on drums participates on some tracks and in the live gigs.
