With a unique style ranging from trip hop, progressive house, melodic epic trance and furious dark drum'n'bass fused with radio friendly vocals and live instrumentation, CLOUD2GROUND takes dance music to a melodic song based level with soulful leads and a full orchestral sound.

Raging out of the Southwestern U.S. club and rave scene which they have conquered, CLOUD2GROUND represents the true underground dance sound while still maintaining radio friendliness. Their amazing live set has been compared to MOBY with the energy of a punk band. This third album from CLOUD2GROUND, The Gate (beautiful), offers a wide growth in their style - expanding beyond the previous signature breakbeat sound. This record is much more vocal driven while retaining their deeply melodic instrumentation.

Currently Jeremy Dawson the prodigy brainchild behind CLOUD2GROUND has permanently merged with former Geffen and RCA records singer/songwriter/remix artist Chad Petree, continuing to broaden the musical styles of the group to a dizzying level of energy, focusing on more vocals and more live instrumentation on stage and fusing Petree's love for drum'n'bass with the signature sound of CLOUD2GROUND. The duo has recently relocated to Los Angeles where they are recording a series of 12 inch singles featuring major dance artist remixes while also beginning work on a massive new album set for completion by mid summer. Jeremy is also a regularly traveling DJ, spinning main-floor ready epic trance at nightclubs and events across the U.S., while Chad continues to produce songs and engineer albums in multiple genres of music. Both Chad and Jeremy regularly perform live between remixes and other recording projects. CLOUD2GROUND has performed with such major artists as Tone Loc, Crystal Method, Lunatic Calm, Meatbeat Manifesto, Sugar Hill Gang, 98 degrees, Sixpence None the Richer, Everything, DJ Icey, K5, Superstar DJ Keoki, Johnny Vicious, Supa DJ Dmitry of Dee-lite, and many many more.

CLOUD2GROUND's first record was highly respected by press with feature coverage in the Alive magazine and website, multiple mentions in Mixer Magazine, Lotus, Sushi Magazine, and reviews in Charisma, 7ball, CCM, and many more.

Additionally, CLOUD2GROUND received more airplay than any other rhythmic/urban artist according the Progressive Airplay Journal. Locking the #1 spot for 1998, Cloud2Ground received the coveted #1 spot of the Top 50 most played songs of 1998 according to the Progressive Airplay Journal (formerly the Pure Rock Report). CLOUD2GROUND also dominated the charts with a #1 single spot for 13 weeks on in a row on the same chart! The longest running #1 ever recorded on the Progressive Airplay Journal.
