Eclectica is a musical construction of love; love for dance music and love for the people in the scene. Its goal is to let people know about independent dance artists and their music. Most of these artists are actively touring; a few are resident DJ's at local clubs. It's not only about music for these artists.

Eclectica 1: features these artists:
Cloud2Ground (C2G) has the most incredible dance, trip hop and house grooves the market has ever seen. Jeremy Dawson, the programmer and songwriter for C2G, has over five years of musical experience in the industry. He is a manager and resident DJ at Star 7 Diskotek and Factory of Sound in Oklahoma. Aside from that, Jeremy is a partner and producer of Basic Beat Records which helps underground DJs have the opportunity to record and be noticed in the dance market. He promotes local and national DJs and is part of the Electric Music Promotion Team. C2G is currently played on the radio with regular rotation in Oklahoma, Colorado, Texas, and college radio.


DJ Seven, a.k.a. Jamey Wright, hails from Jacksonville, FL. He has been deejaying dance music since 1992. He recently began exploring the idea of making his own songs, and Eternal (UK tribute mix) is the result. Aside from spinning at night clubs and churches, he partners up with a fellow DJ in the UK to run one of the Internets largest Dance Website - Tastyfresh. Rinse , an electronic project of dance, dreamscape and chill out music is the latest project for Bill Burgess and Tony Green. These two are based out in the Los Angeles area and have been performing and recording music for 15 years. Between the two of them, they have worked on over 17 independent CD releases. Bill has worked on projects for Havalina Rail Co., the Merbabies, and Jackson Rubio. He currently operates and owns a 24-track recording studio and music production company called Stream, located in Costa Mesa, CA. Rinse is not just a group name, but has a significant meaning behind it. In 1980, both Bill and Tony had a miraculous encounter on a winter backpacking trip in the Rockies. At the point of a near drug overdose, Bill had a vision of a large cross in the sky above the 14,000 ft. peak of Mt. Hope. Bill was completely delivered and immediately sobered with what he describes as a sparkling and cleansing sense of complete forgiveness. Like a rinse of love and hope. Upon observing this mountain top experience Tony had no idea what to do. He then heard a voice say, You can follow me today or go your own way. He, too, was immediately sobered and felt a deep sense of forgiveness. As a result of this sovereign deliverance from drugs, the dream of seeing a music with this spirit and a relevance to youth culture was started. Since then, Bill and Tony have toured Europe, Australia, Canada, and the United States

Spiritual High is electronic music for the soul combining all styles of breakbeat and drum and bass with refreshing new age textures. That's how Joey Davis describes his music. Based in Oklahoma City, producer/programmer Joey Davis creates electronica and drum and bass from beyond. He has performed at local clubs and receives regular air play in Oklahoma and Kansas. He is currently writing and recording tracks for his second full length album "Visions" to be released Nov. 15, 1999 as Faith Massive, as well as putting out vinyl.

Audity, a.k.a. Tim Hiber, has recently become a shining beacon in the field of electronic dance music. He started early in his musical training and career. At the age of 8, he was trained as a classical cellist. He quickly taught himself to play the piano and performed with numerous orchestras and ensembles. At the age of 14, he became interested in the new style of dance music coming out of Europe in the late 80s. His interest shifted from Tchaikovsky to techno and began spinning records in 1991. He is a resident DJ at a club near Orlando, FL, and does shows nationwide. As an engineer, he has been sought for various projects. Recent projects include releases in Steedog Records, an independent label, and remixes for The Atonement, Satellite Circle, as well as his soon -to-be-released debut LP The Language I Think In. Upcoming projects will include remixes for, as yet undisclosed, national acts.

E-Mission is a central Florida based dance band. Nate Maners is the leader of E-Mission, which was started in 1994. The name stands for Eternal Mission, and they desire to bring a new level of worship to today's club community. E-Mission combines a heavy intensity of pounding beats, 3-D basses and lush vocals that only point their crowd one step closer to Jesus. They have done many shows at clubs and church events, one of which was to open up for NSOUL's Sozo.


Outsiders can be described with words such as Funk, Groove, Vibe, Energy and Fun. Outsiders is a collaboration of seven individuals who met at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. Each is a talented musician with many personal accomplishments. Each has been on tour or lent their talents to artists, like Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, Sandy Patty, Bill Gaither, MxPx, Church of Rhythm, D.O.C., and Sixpence None the Richer. Originally Outsiders was pinned as a rap group, however they have incorporated funk, jazz, and even techno in their songs. They are a group of musicians doing the style of music they feel inside of them. The Outsiders are all about the spirit of funk, the spirit of groove, and the spirit of vibe. But in the midst of all the fun. Be on the look out for them because they tour extensively.

Mars Hill is made up of Josh Woollen and his brother Jordan. Josh has a lot of passion about what he has to say through music. Through the ups and downs in his life, he was led to the dance and rave scenes. It was a time in his life where he was searching for the meaning and purpose in life. He had gone through every answer to fulfillment from drugs, sex, alcohol, compulsive-obsessive behaviors and materialism, just to name a few. Josh has a heart for those in the dance and rave scene, especially those that are trying fill that void in their lives.

Analogue Prophets came to Matthew Buri when he was pushing shopping carts while at work. It is a name that stands for dedication to clean dance music. Matthew wants to reach out to those teenagers and even the older crowd out there in the club scene. Matthew is a senior at Robert Wesleyan College in New York where his music is very well received and supported.

Antidote a visual and audible experience. They were a definite success and favorite at Cornerstone Festival. antidote is Jorge and Leigh Goyco. They have been married for three years, have two dogs (mutts), are still looking for a church home in Austin, TX, and have over 200,000 miles on both their cars. Leigh sings and advises Jorge and Jorge composes everything on a Macintosh. They started making music for their own enjoyment, but they soon found out that people liked it too. Their live shows are definitely worth seeing. Words cannot describe the experience you will have. You can see them featured on MTV Unfiltered this fall and interviewed on an Internet magazine at .

Servants & Witnesses is a full time ministry founded by Matt Crump. This North Carolina based band is not just a music group. Matt has done many speaking engagements, especially youth conventions. Before forming this organization, Matt was a missionary.

Techno/Soul is the concept of producer/engineer Matthew Daniel Frizane (Nitro Praise II/Platinum Bass Productions). The idea is to bring cool vocalists, hot dance tracks, and gospel based lyrics that speak to all people. Matthew worked as a DJ while studying music theory and performance and broadcasting. He continued on to study music, business, and studio recording before graduating. As a young person, Matthew loved dancing and dance music. He created Techno/Soul in order to provide quality dance music with lyrics that can reach all people.

Messiah's Misfits has the desire to break down the walls of tradition. The group encompasses many styles of Electro Groove music with an open format designed as a template for artistic expression. Andy has worked with such acts as Michael Deep w/ Higher Octave; Bill Curtis & the Fatback Band/South Bound Records. He has also worked as a sound designer for local talents like Milton Smith (Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynett, Miss America) & Wesley Pritchard (Fayetteville /Bill Gaither).
